Best Paper Award on Gender Economics

16 December 2025 – UniCredit Foundation announces the launch of the “Best Paper Award on Gender Economics” – 16th Edition (2026).

The competition is open to researchers from European countries within the UniCredit geographical area, with the aim of rewarding outstanding scientific contributions on topics related to Gender Economics.
Among the two prizes available, one will preferably be awarded to a paper with a focus on Education. 

 

Grant Details

UniCredit Foundation awards 2 prizes aimed at recognizing and promoting innovative and high‑quality research in the field of Gender Economics.

The prizes are open to researchers born after 1990, authors of papers not published before 2025.

  • Total value: €2,500 gross for each winning paper

  • Application submission deadline: 15 May 2026, by 11:59 PM Central European Time (CET)
  • Announcement of winners: by 30 June 2026
